Thiessen Team USA has innovative solutions for difficult problems. Both of our shotcrete plants now have the facilities to produce and transport shotcrete in bulk quantities. This makes it easier and more productive for mining operations to store shotcrete on the surface and then transport it underground. The highway transport units can haul 13 cubic yards each and can traverse even the most difficult haulroads.

Off loading of bulk shotcrete at the job site is accomplished with ease using augers and a surface storage silo. From the surface, the shocrete can be transported underground using a slick line or by bulk containers or rail cars depending on the operation.

Bulk shotcrete offers many advantages. The material is premixed to the customers specifications and remains isolated from the weather from the time it is mixed until it is used at the job site. This ensures a quality product that is consistence from batch to batch. Transporting shotcrete in bulk also reduces storage requirements, lowers labor costs and eliminates the need to track and return bags and pallets. Bulk transportation is the most efficient and effective means of handling large quantities of shotcrete.
